Vinamilk continues to donate 10 billion VND to the Covid-19 Prevention Fund
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the Government's call, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) has donated 10 billion VND to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, joining hands with individuals, organizations and the community to quickly bring vaccines to the Vietnamese people.

Since the outbreak, Vinamilk has donated a total of more than VND65 billion to the Government's epidemic prevention activities and support frontline forces and provide nutritional care for the community during the pandemic.
According to the Ministry of Health, to successfully control the epidemic and reopen the economy, Vietnam needs to quickly vaccinate its people to achieve community immunity. Therefore, the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund has been established by the Government to support and finance the purchase, import, research, and production of vaccines domestically, with the goal of vaccinating as many people as possible as quickly as possible.

In 2020, Vinamilk donated a total of VND40 billion to the Government's epidemic prevention work, supporting frontline forces to fight the epidemic and supporting children and the community during the pandemic. Of which, VND18 billion in cash was used to support the purchase of medical biological equipment and supplies for testing.
In the first 6 months of 2021, facing new developments of the pandemic, Vinamilk continued to support 2 million nutritional products equivalent to about 15 billion VND to provide nutrition to those affected by the pandemic, especially children.
