Honoring Vietnam's leading tourism businesses in 2016

The ceremony to honor Vietnam's leading tourism businesses in 2016 is scheduled to be held at the Hanoi Opera House at 7:00 p.m. on July 9, 2016, on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2016).

This is the only and most prestigious award in the tourism industry, held continuously since 1999. After 17 years of implementation, the Vietnam Tourism Award has truly created prestige in the industry, becoming a goal to strive for and a source of pride for the tourism businesses that have been awarded the award.

The award aims to select and honor organizations, businesses and individuals who have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnam tourism; promote emulation movements, constantly improve service quality, diversify tourism products, enhance the professionalism of business units in the tourism sector; create favorable conditions for tourists to choose to use tourism services with the best brand and quality.

The 2016 Vietnam Tourism Awards Ceremony will take place on July 9 at the Opera House.

According to the Organizing Committee, the organizations and businesses awarded the Vietnam Tourism Award 2016 are those that have affirmed their reputation, service quality and business efficiency in 2015.

This year's award structure is more expanded than previous years, including: Top 10 international travel businesses welcoming tourists to Vietnam; Top 10 international travel businesses taking tourists abroad; Top 10 domestic travel businesses in Vietnam; Top 10 5-star hotels in Vietnam; Top 10 4-star hotels in Vietnam; Top 10 3-star hotels in Vietnam; 3 airlines (1 airline transporting the most tourists, 01 most dynamic airline, 01 foreign airline transporting the most tourists to Vietnam); Top 5 businesses transporting tourists by car in Vietnam; Top 5 businesses transporting tourists by ship in Vietnam; Top 10 restaurants serving tourists in Vietnam; Top 5 shopping establishments serving tourists in Vietnam; Top 5 tourist stops in Vietnam; Top 10 golf courses in Vietnam; Top 5 tourist attractions in Vietnam and Top 5 tourist resorts in Vietnam.
