Ha Long Bay ranked 2nd/15 most beautiful limestone wonders in the world

Vietnam's Ha Long Bay has just entered the Top 15 most beautiful natural limestone wonders in the world voted by BBC (UK).

Accordingly, Ha Long Bay ranked second on the list. BBC highly appreciated the unique and spectacular landscape of Ha Long Bay with hundreds of rocky mountains, stone pillars, limestone caves... scattered across the bay, created by tidal tectonic processes over 500 million years ago. Currently, this is one of the top tourist attractions of Vietnam tourism.

Topping the Top 15 is the Fairy Chimney Valley (Türkiye). The Fairy Chimney Valley (also known as the Fairy Chimneys) impresses with a series of tapered limestone cone-shaped towers, resembling chimneys in the sky.

In addition, the above list includes other unique masterpieces formed from rocks around the world such as: Eye of the Sahara (Mauritania); Giant Blue Hole (Belize); Moeraki Boulders (New Zealand); Zhangye Danxia (China); Stone Forest (China); Moon Valley (Argentina); Wave Rock (Australia); Chocolate Hills (Philippines); Giant's Walk (Northern Ireland); Bryce Canyon National Park (Utah, USA); Vermillion Cliffs National Monument (Arizona, USA); Crystal Cave (Mexico); San Andreas Fault (California, USA)./.
