VN wins high prize at FIAP color photo contest

The color photo series "Childhood Message" by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists won a bronze medal at the 23rd International Traditional Color Artistic Photography Competition of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) recently held in Ireland.

This is the first time Vietnam has won a high prize in the FIAP color photography contest.

Among them, with the highest prize reserved for each separate work, the photo "Rescue" by author Pham Duc won the gold medal and "New Smile" by Vu Thi Tinh won the bronze medal.

These awards will be meaningful gifts from Vietnamese photography artists ahead of the 30th FIAP Congress in Hanoi from August 1 to 8, hosted by Vietnam.

During this congress, Vietnam also hosted the FIAP Traditional Black and White Art Photography Awards.

On the occasion of this FIAP Congress, the association also released a CD compiling valuable historical images and beautiful photos of Vietnam's land and people as gifts for delegates.

In addition, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists also organized an exhibition of 100 photos that won domestic and international photography awards.
