The play "3 in 1": Humorous yet profound.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 20th, at Nghe An University of Economics and Technology, the Vietnam National Drama Theatre performed the play "3 in 1". This program was part of a collaboration between the Vietnam National Drama Theatre and the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (EPI) of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Vietnam, in response to World AIDS Day (December 1st). A large number of faculty and students from the university attended the performance.
The play "3 in 1" tells the story of three people, three different lives, but sharing a common fate: they are three groups at high risk of HIV/AIDS infection. Dung – a gay young man forced to leave home because his family disapproved. Hoa – a prostitute working to support her elderly mother and young child in her hometown. Cong – a long-time drug addict whose family is on the verge of collapse.
