Accordingly, VTV is licensed to produce, exploit, and use on a free or paid media basis all programs related to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Specifically, VTV owns the exclusive rights to television (terrestrial, cable, satellite) and radio in Vietnam. Along with that is the right to broadcast on mobile and internet in Vietnam.
All 64 matches and pre-, mid- and post-match commentary programs of the 2014 FIFA World Cup are broadcast live on the broadcasting channels VTV3 and VTV6. Along with that are commentary programs, companion programs, news bulletins, World Cup diaries...
Other units such as Television Stations, National Radio and Television Stations, and pay TV service providers that are broadcasting VTV3 and VTV6 channels of VTV and want to continue broadcasting VTV's 2014 World Cup match program must be approved by FIFA and VTV before being allowed to continue broadcasting the program.
According to VTV's regulations, if approved, stations must broadcast the entire match, without adding or removing any advertising elements or images or sounds (in any form) to the structure of VTV's match broadcast program.
