VTVcab broadcasts Champions League for 3 consecutive seasons
On August 27, 2015, in Hanoi, Vietnam Cable Television (VTVcab) officially announced the broadcasting rights for the UEFA Champions League and Europa League for 3 consecutive seasons from 2015 - 2018.
In Vietnam, VTVcab is currently the only unit that officially owns the broadcasting rights to this prestigious tournament. VTVcab's copyright package ensures that every week the ball rolls, Vietnamese fans will not miss the competition of at least 4 - 8 of the strongest clubs in Europe. Starting from the 2015/2016 season, VTVcab will broadcast 73 matches each UEFA Champion League season, including: 68 live matches of the play-off round, group stage, qualifying round, quarter-finals. Of which, VTVcab will exclusively broadcast 44 live matches, including the entire semi-finals and finals.
The football menu on VTVcab is even more diverse when the audience can fully enjoy the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 3 consecutive seasons 2015 - 2018. Specifically, with the UEFA Europa League, VTVcab has the copyright to broadcast 62 matches/season, including 24 exclusive live matches.
