The case of two brothers beaten while doing good deeds: Detaining Trinh Dinh Luan and Trinh Dinh Long

On September 10, the Investigation Police Agency, Bac Ninh Provincial Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Trinh Dinh Luan (born in 1991) and Trinh Dinh Long (born in 1994), both residing in Lap Ai village, Dai Lai commune, Bac Ninh province. Both are being investigated for the acts of "Intentionally causing injury" and "Disturbing public order”.

The above decision was approved by the People's Procuracy of Region 9, Bac Ninh province.

Previously, on the evening of September 9, the Investigation Police Agency, Bac Ninh Provincial Police received a report from Nhan Thang Commune Police about an assault that occurred at around 11:00 p.m. on September 7 in the area of ​​the right dike of Duong River, in Van Ty village, Nhan Thang commune.

At that time, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh (born in 1982) was driving his wife home from a medical examination. When he reached the above-mentioned dike, Mr. Vinh discovered two unconscious young men lying next to a Yamaha Exciter motorbike, license plate: 37F1-047.83.

The two victims were identified as Trinh Dinh Luan and Nguyen Duc Minh (born in 1997, residing in Hai Phong City).

At the scene, there were Mr. Luu Van Nam (born 2004, residing in Nhan Thang commune) and Mr. Luu Van Tam (born 2003) standing watching the incident.

Mr. Nam asked Mr. Vinh to help take the victim to the emergency room, but Mr. Vinh refused because he was taking his wife home. After taking his wife home, Mr. Vinh returned to the scene with three other people, Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Ba Trung and Mr. Nguyen Duc Dai, all residing in Van Ty village, to assist in first aid for the victims.

While this group was helping, a group of about 6 young men on 3 motorbikes, including Trinh Dinh Long (Luan's younger brother), appeared at the scene.

Suddenly, this group of young men attacked the people who were helping the accident victims, causing Mr. Trung and Mr. Vinh to be seriously injured and had to be hospitalized. The other two, Mr. Thanh and Mr. Dai, suffered soft tissue injuries and were treated at home.

Immediately after receiving the information, Bac Ninh Provincial Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department, Nhan Thang Commune Police and the People's Procuracy of Region 9 to investigate and verify the incident.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency, Bac Ninh Provincial Police are continuing to expand the investigation, consolidate case files and arrest related subjects.
