Mr. Le Huu Trung - Chairman of Mai Hung Ward People's Committee, Hoang Mai town said: Mr. Thinh has a history of mental illness, abnormal temperament, and has now been brought back to his family.

Baby H. and Ms. HTS (born in 1982, Thinh's wife) have moved back to her parents' house to live temporarily to ensure safety.

Previously, as Baonghean.vn reported: On the morning of March 27, because she was busy weeding the fields, Ms. HT S had to leave her child at home to play alone.

At noon on March 27, Ms. S. came home from working in the fields and discovered baby H.'s face was bruised, his eyes were swollen, he was unable to eat or speak. Suspecting that her husband, Mr. Tran Ba Thinh, was beating their child, Ms. S. reported the incident to the police.

At the police station, Thinh confessed that he was tired after work, had been drinking, could not control himself, and heard that H. was mischievous and broke the neighbor's things, so he beat the child, causing his face to swell before falling to the ground.

Investigation results determined that Thinh had a history of mental illness, so Hoang Mai Town Police did not criminally prosecute Thinh for beating his stepchild./.
