Nighttime Shootout: Female Cleaner Hit by "Stray Bullet" Is Out of Critical Condition

Upon examination, Ms. Chung’s body had four wounds, including two wounds on the left iliac crest and metal fragments on her left arm. Doctors performed surgery to remove the metal fragments from Ms. Chung’s body and discovered that the victim also had a perforated stomach and wounds penetrating the spleen and liver.
After a night of emergency care and surgery, Ms. Chung was transferred to the Department of Gastroenterology at Nghe An General Hospital for further treatment. Currently, Ms. Chung is conscious but cannot talk because her health is still weak.
Working with Ms. Chung at the time of the shooting, Mr. Dang Van Chung (born in 1990) was also hit by a stray bullet in the arm. After receiving emergency care, Mr. Chung was discharged from the hospital on the evening of November 4.
It is known that Ms. Dinh Thi Chung has been working as a janitor for over 6 years, while Mr. Dang Van Chung and his wife have been working as environmental workers for over 3 years and are renting a room to live in. At the time of the incident, the two environmental workers were standing near the area where the shooting occurred, waiting for the garbage truck to arrive, when they were hit by a "stray bullet".
Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on November 4, at a 3-story house at 58 Tran Hung Dao Street (Vinh City), a shooting occurred between two groups of people, leaving one person dead and two injured. The two injured were environmental workers of Nghe An Environmental One Member Co., Ltd.
Lieutenant Colonel Mai Chien Thang - Deputy Head of Vinh City Police said that Vinh City Police and the Department of Investigation of Social Order Crimes (PC45) of Nghe An Province Police are investigating the cause of the shooting and are actively searching for the perpetrators.
