US precision-guided weapons taken down by Russian forces using electronic warfare
(Baonghean.vn) - Business Insider reported that the Russian military has repeatedly successfully shot down precision-guided weapons supplied by the US to Ukraine using electronic warfare.

According to RIA Novosti, Business Insider quoted a Pentagon official as saying that another US precision-guided weapon appeared to have been thwarted by Russian electronic warfare. This weapon was originally developed by the US and transferred to Ukraine. This is another new US weapon that has failed in real combat, emphasizing the growing challenge in countering Russian electronic warfare tactics.
US Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Logistics William LaPlante admitted that the new versions of US precision weapons cannot strike Russian targets partly due to the successful electronic warfare operations of the Russian Armed Forces.
Business Insider said that this is not the first US precision-guided weapon to be shot down by Russian electronic warfare.
Western media have repeatedly noted the effectiveness of Russian electronic warfare systems. The New York Times wrote that these facilities were used to successfully destroy Ukrainian drones.
In addition, on all sides of the front, the Russian army is advancing in unison, closing all encirclements. In southern Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on April 1 that the operational command headquarters of the Armed Forces of Southern Ukraine had been attacked by coordinated air, missile and artillery strikes by Russian forces. The Russian Defense Ministry said without providing further details, but said that its forces were improving their position along the entire front line.
In the East, Russia is deploying forces to surround the city of Chasov Yar, while Ukraine is still waiting for aid from the US. Chasov Yar is located in the Donbass industrial zone, including Donetsk and Lugansk provinces. The city is located on hills that serve as natural defenses./.
