Vu Nhu Thanh joins "boss" Kien's football team
More than a month after the shocking contract with Le Cong Vinh, Mr. Kien continued the surprise by deciding to recruit the center back who is involved in a series of scandals, Vu Nhu Thanh.
Nhu Thanh joined Mr. Kien's football team.
Nhu Thanh & It's Not Too Late to Try
When the 2011 season ended, Nhu Thanh confided that he had considered the last option of retiring from football, ending his career even though he could still play a few more peak seasons. That seemingly difficult decision was made quite easily by Thanh "keu", because malicious rumors were making his career path increasingly deadlocked. But at the end of October 2011, Nhu Thanh changed his mind and this was considered the transformation process of Vietnam's number 1 central defender.
“Quitting football and finding a job that guarantees my life is not too difficult and I don’t have to put up with this, that, and malicious rumors. But if I choose this way, I will become a coward and disappoint many people who love, support, encourage, and believe in me. Honestly, the decision to quit football is not very “manly” and I am determined to get back what I have missed all this time. I am not foolish enough not to try my best because if the team loses a contract, I will lose my whole life. I want to play, I want to prove my ability, I want to win the V.League again and return to the Vietnam national team. But to do those things, I need a chance,” Nhu Thanh confided with all his heart.
Despite highly appreciating the talent, class, and influence of Vietnam's number one central defender, a series of big club owners all think that Nhu Thanh is a risky solution. The door to a career that seemed to be quietly closed for the central defender who was the Southeast Asian champion, twice crowned in the V.League and the only Vietnamese player nominated for the 2008 Asian Golden Ball award voted by Super magazine (UAE).
The most dangerous place is the safest place
One afternoon, Mr. Duc called to invite Nhu Thanh to join HAGL. Everything was approved and only one signature was missing, but everything ended with Thanh "keu" in the most tragic way: HAGL had taken Hai Lam and no longer needed a central defender. Secretly happy with the last chance, Nhu Thanh fell to the bottom of despair and the nightmare of hanging up his boots haunted him again.
While Như Thành was feeling depressed about his fate and the tragic ending of his football career, Mr. Đức called and recommended Mr. Kiên to reach an agreement. But the difficulty was that the relationship between coach Thành Vinh and Như Thành was very bad after the match-fixing scandal at the JVC Cup in 2003, and Mr. Kiên was also worried that the players in the team would not "accept". Strangely enough, the pillars of the Hanoi Football Club all opened their arms to welcome Như Thành, and coach Nguyễn Thành Vinh was also convinced by the wish of his former student. Fate seemed to tease Như Thành because the promised land was ultimately full of nightmares, and the hopeless place turned out to bring the last ray of hope.
Mr. Kien bought the number 1 central defender in Vietnam with full determination and effort at a price only half of his previous price, approximately the same as a young player. Thanh "Ke" is of course very happy with this rebirth contract and he also has the opportunity to improve the views of his colleagues, fans, and take back what belongs to him. Therefore, the value and duration of the contract cannot be important and Nhu Thanh has never mentioned the money because the last chance to rebuild his life, the trust of the only person left is much more valuable than those numbers.
There will be a completely new Thanh "keu" in V.League 2012, that hope is well-founded.
