Explosion kills 55 and injures more than 150 in Afghanistan
At least more than 200 people were injured, including 55 killed, in a series of bombings near the Afghan capital Kabul on the evening of May 8.
The latest update from Afghan security forces shows that the number of casualties in a series of bombings near the capital Kabul last night (May 8) has left at least 200 casualties, including 55 deaths.

According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, all three car bombs exploded outside Sayyed-ul-Shuhada School in Etifaq town, west of Kabul. Most of the victims were female students and staff of the school.
So far, no organization or armed group has claimed responsibility for the explosion. However, PresidentAfghanistanAshraf Ghani said that it is likely that the Taliban were behind the incident./.
