Three days have passed, but Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan (resident of Hamlet 8, Dinh Son Commune, Anh Son) is still upset and angry at the brutal behavior of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien (resident of the same commune). Mr. Hien is the one who beat her son Quan, causing him to be hospitalized.
Ms. Xuan said: “Currently, Quan is still hospitalized for treatment. Every night, he cries and is always in a state of fear. As a mother, seeing someone beat and kicked his child so brutally, who wouldn’t feel sorry?”

Although she did not want to mention what happened, because she was so upset, Ms. Xuan agreed to recount the incident at noon on October 19 at Dinh Son Primary School. According to Ms. Xuan, that afternoon, Quan came home from school with scratches on his face. When she asked, she was told that during recess, Quan teased Dat, then Dat turned around, grabbed Quan by the neck, held him down, and pinched his face, so Quan also pinched him back. Thinking that the incident was just children teasing each other, Ms. Xuan reminded her son not to fight with his friends at school.
At that moment, the homeroom teacher of class 4A, Dinh Son Primary School called Ms. Xuan and said that Dat's parents were here and wanted to invite her and Quan to the school office to resolve the matter. "I also thought that the families should go there to resolve the matter normally, to warn their children not to be naughty anymore, not to fight anymore, so they took their children to school," Ms. Xuan said.
When Ms. Xuan and her son had just arrived at the office door, a man in a denim jacket walked out (Ms. Xuan later learned that it was Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien, Dat's father). Mr. Hien approached and asked his son: "Who is Quan?". When Dat pointed to Quan, Mr. Hien slapped Quan hard in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Ms. Xuan only had time to scream, when a man in a T-shirt (Ms. Dieu - Mr. Hien's brother) ran over and punched her in the head and neck.
Even though she was beaten, Ms. Xuan still saw that Mr. Hien continued to punch and kick Quan, causing him to fall and hit the corner of the door. The homeroom teacher, the vice principal, and the principal tried to stop him, but Mr. Hien still did not stop.
“I was so scared that I could only scream. I didn’t know what else to do. Mr. Nam, the vice principal, rushed in to hug me, but was punched hard by Mr. Dieu. Mr. Hien also threatened me with scissors: “You want to die, right?” Seeing that, I hugged my child and ran out of the school gate, hid in someone’s house and called for help,” Ms. Xuan said.
Because she was so panicked, Ms. Xuan could not pick up the phone to call her family. The people immediately called the commune police. After her relatives arrived, they saw that the commune police had restrained Mr. Hien and taken him to the commune police station for questioning.
Ms. Xuan and Quan were taken to Anh Son District Medical Center for examination. There, Quan was found to have bruises on his face and blood clots in his eyes. Ms. Xuan had pain in her head. “At night, when she was sleeping, she kept screaming and calling for her mother in panic. She is still being treated and is being monitored by the doctor,” Ms. Xuan said.
According to Ms. Xuan, 2 days after the incident, Mr. Hien came to her house and the hospital, apologized, and hoped that Ms. Xuan's family would understand "because he drank alcohol".
Currently, Ms. Xuan's family has written a complaint against Mr. Hien's behavior because they believe that the incident is not only the family's but also the teachers and the school's. Ms. Xuan's family requests that the authorities clarify the incident and strictly handle it according to the law to deter and serve as a lesson to others.
Previously, at noon on October 19, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien (resident of Dinh Son commune, Anh Son) saw that his son Dat (a son) had scratches on his face, so he went to Dinh Son Primary School to clarify the matter. Here, Mr. Hien beat Quan (Dat's classmate), Ms. Xuan (Dat's mother) and Mr. Tran Van Phu - the school's principal when he intervened. The commune police were present, restrained him, took Mr. Hien to the headquarters to work and sent the case file to the superiors. Currently, Anh Son District Police are continuing to verify and clarify the case to handle it in accordance with the law./.
