Happy Mid-Autumn Festival at the Provincial Social Work Center

(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival 2013, on September 17, Nghe An Province Children's Fund coordinated with Prudential Insurance Company Limited, Hospital 4, Bac A Bank, TH Group to organize Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, implement eye examination program, provide free medicine, and plant vegetable garden for children at Nghe An Province Social Work Center (Luu Son Commune, Do Luong District).
Attending the program were representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Children's Fund, Nghe An Journalists Association, Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, Hospital 4, Do Luong district.
Nghe An Social Work Center regularly maintains care for 55-60 children in especially difficult circumstances, without a place to rely on. Over the years, the Center has regularly received many meaningful gifts from organizations and units. The Mid-Autumn Festival 2013 was organized in a cozy, joyful atmosphere with performances by the children being raised at the Center.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Chief Representative of Prudential Company in Nghe An, presented the sponsorship money for eye examination and free medicine to the children at the Center.

With a sponsorship of 30 million VND from sponsor Prudential, the eye examination program undertaken by doctors and nurses of Hospital 4 provided free examinations and medicine to over 200 children inside and outside the Center. In addition, Prudential Company also donated 2.5 million VND to plant vegetable gardens for the children. Right at the program, more than 50 consultants of the Company and delegates attending directly planted the first vegetables. This is the second time Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited has organized an eye examination program in Nghe An. In July this year, Prudential Company cooperated with the Children's Support Fund and Hospital 4 to sponsor 107 eye surgeries with a total cost of 165,600,000 VND.

Doctors and nurses from Hospital 4 (Military Region 4) examined the children's eyes and gave them free medicine.
On this occasion, the Children's Support Fund and Do Luong District presented 3 wheelchairs to the children at the Center. In addition, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also presented a certificate of appreciation to Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited for "Having a kind heart for children".
On the morning of September 17 in Do Luong district, Bac A Bank and TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company organized a Mid-Autumn Festival gift giving ceremony for children in especially difficult circumstances who are being cared for at Nghe An Social Work Center.
Representatives of Bac A Bank and TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company presented 30 children in especially difficult circumstances with 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND.
