The company's products include sportswear, family clothes, heat-resistant shirts exported to the US and Eastern European markets.

Talking to us, Mr. Le Chu Tu - Manager of Prex Vinh Garment Company, said: With 2 garment workshops, the company exports over 2 million products with a revenue of nearly 300 billion VND/year. Currently, the company is creating jobs for nearly 5,000 local workers and neighboring districts such as Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Tan Ky, Thanh Chuong with an average salary of 3-8 million VND/person/year. In the coming time, the company will innovate production methods, professionalize the workforce to meet the needs of diversification and increase the export value of products on the world market.

After a long period of difficulties, the Do Luong Cement Factory construction project, which was taken over by Visai Ninh Binh Cement Group as the investor (Song Lam Cement Factory), is opening up a positive sign for development. The factory's production line is invested with modern technology from Germany and Japan with a total project capital of over 9,000 billion VND, with a total capacity of 14 million tons/year divided into 2 main phases. Mr. Dinh Quoc Quyen - General Director of Song Lam Cement Company said: The project has received attention from the district for quick site handover, so it is very favorable.

Currently, the contractor has completed over 90% of the construction volume, and is expected to complete 2 furnaces and produce the first products by November 2016. The company will create jobs for over 1,500 workers. The cement grinding station in Nghi Thiet (Nghi Loc) with a capacity of 3.8 million tons of cement/year has also started operating. The company's products focus on producing high-quality cement for export to 35 countries worldwide.

With many available potentials in terms of natural conditions and geography, Do Luong is considered an attractive land in attracting investment for economic development. In recent years, the district has actively invested in infrastructure, exempted land rent, income tax and some fees in the first 2 years, and paid attention to supporting clean land for projects. Mr. Hoang Van Hiep - Vice Chairman of Do Luong District People's Committee, emphasized: Up to now, the district has mobilized investment capital of over 5,500 billion VND. The Town Industrial Cluster alone has attracted 13 enterprises to invest in production and business, creating jobs for 600 workers, a system of restaurants, hotels, services, small and medium supermarkets associated with investment in developing the Green Garden urban area and Cau Tien urban area has been formed.

Visiting the mushroom growing model of 4 households in hamlet 3 of Thai Son commune (Do Luong). Here, mushrooms are grown in a closed chain with a system of factories, bagging machines, mixers, mixers, boilers, and conveyor belts. Talking to us, Mr. Hoang Van Duong - 1 of the 4 households involved in production said: Growing mushrooms is not difficult, the time from the mixing stage to putting them into the bagging line is about 3 months.

Currently, the production model reaches over 100,000 bags/year including lingzhi, wood ear and oyster mushrooms, selling over 6 tons of products/year with the selling price of 95-100 thousand VND/kg, net profit over 350 million VND/year, 6-7 times higher than agricultural production. The products are not enough to serve the market. Currently, the model is also supported by Do Luong district with 2 lingzhi mushroom kilns with 120,000 bags, contributing to creating jobs for nearly 30 workers/day in the locality.

Or the model of growing Dien grapefruit on the hill garden of Mr. Dao Danh Bay's family in Xuan Thinh hamlet, Giang Son Dong commune. At the age of nearly 70, the production conditions are difficult, but for nearly 10 years now, he has been devoted to grapefruit trees. After many years of care, he now has nearly 1,000 Dien grapefruit trees, selling nearly 9,000 fruits to the market each year, at a selling price of 35,000 VND/fruit, for a net profit of nearly 300 million VND/year.

Every year, his model is also a reliable address for seedlings for people in the region with over 200 seedlings sold each year. Mr. Nguyen Canh Thanh - Vice Chairman of Giang Son Dong Commune People's Committee said: Currently, the commune has planned production households into concentrated areas including 8 hectares of vegetables, 7 hectares of grapefruit, 65 hectares of sugarcane, 60 livestock models following the Vietnamese farming style. The models have increased income 8 - 10 times compared to before.

Mr. Hoang Van Hiep - Vice Chairman of Do Luong District People's Committee affirmed: In the coming time, the district will focus on attracting investment (expected to reach 7,000 billion VND by 2020) effectively in Lac Son industrial cluster, calling for investment in Thuong Son industrial cluster, requesting approval from competent authorities to supplement and plan Hoa Son industrial cluster when Song Lam 2 Cement Factory comes into operation.

Speed ​​up the completion of the Cau Dau urban planning project, call for investors to plan the urban area south of the town, build a commercial center in the north opposite the town's industrial cluster, and plan towns and townships approved by the Provincial People's Committee. In addition, promoting the role of the people as the main subject in building new rural areas, the district focuses on 4 economic sub-regions including the Northwest semi-mountainous area, developing hill garden economy, commercial livestock farming, and forestry processing industry.

The Lam River area develops fruit trees, annual crops, high-quality food vegetables, and develops fine art pottery.
