Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park receives three red-faced monkeys
On the afternoon of January 9, the Rescue, Conservation and Development Center of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh) announced that it had just received three red-faced monkeys for care and treatment before returning them to the wild.

These three red-faced monkeys (the smallest weighs 3kg and the largest 8kg) were transferred by the Bo Trach District Forest Protection Department and Minh Hoa District Forest Protection Department in case they were injured due to being trapped by illegal hunters.
After receiving them, scientists from the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Living Creatures focused on caring for and treating their wounds so that the three monkeys could quickly recover before returning them to the wild, contributing to the conservation of biodiversity in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
It is known that the red-faced monkey is a group 2B animal, a rare wild animal, strictly prohibited from exploitation, captivity, and commercial use.
