Two bus drivers in Nghe An were fined for recklessly overtaking on a road under construction.

After receiving complaints from local residents about two passenger vans recklessly overtaking, causing traffic insecurity on a road under construction with a no-overtaking sign, Nghe An Traffic Police quickly investigated and severely punished the two drivers.

At about 6:43 a.m. on September 17, 2025, on National Highway 46, section Km 25+600, through Kim Lien commune, Nghe An province, two passenger cars with license plates 37B-022.16 and 36F-002.11 overtook in a place with a no-overtaking sign for cars, did not use turn signals, and overtook recklessly while the road was under construction, endangering other vehicles on the road.

Immediately after receiving information from the people, the Working Group of Traffic Police Team No. 5, Traffic Police Department - Nghe An Provincial Police urgently verified the incident.

Thereby, the driver of vehicle 37B-022.16 was identified as Mr. Nguyen Van D. (born in 1979, residing in Dai Dong commune, Nghe An province); the driver of vehicle 36F-002.11 was Mr. Le Van D. (born in 1977, residing in Kim Lien commune, Nghe An province).

On the afternoon of September 18, both drivers were invited to work at the headquarters of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 5. Here, the drivers admitted to all violations as reported by the people. The two pledged not to repeat the offense during their career.

Currently, the authorities have drawn up a record of administrative violations against the two drivers above according to the provisions of the law.
