Motorbike ran red light and was hit by car

(Baonghean.vn) - The motorbike was passing through an intersection at a red light when it was hit by a car that was cutting across. The motorbike was stuck under the car.

The accident occurred at about 5:40 p.m. on November 7 at the intersection of Lenin Avenue and Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, Vinh City.

The rescue team had to stop lifting the car to get the motorbike out.

According to people who witnessed the incident, at the above time, a young man (identity unknown) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37P7 - 2907 in the direction of Le Nin Avenue to Vinh airport. While the traffic light was indicating a stop, the motorcyclist rushed out of the intersection, just as a 4-seat car with license plate 37A - 047.23 was passing by.

The collision trapped the motorbike under the car. A jack had to be used to lift the car up to get the motorbike out. Both vehicles were damaged. The victim suffered minor injuries. The driver of the car was unhurt.

Immediately after receiving the news, Vinh City Traffic Police quickly arrived to resolve the incident and clear traffic congestion.
