Motorbike ran red light and was hit by car

(Baonghean.vn) - A motorbike was crossing an intersection at a red light when it was hit by a car that was cutting across. The motorbike was stuck under the car.

The accident occurred at around 5:40 p.m. on November 7 at the intersection of Lenin Avenue and Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, Vinh City.

Rescuers had to stop lifting the car to get the motorbike out.

According to witnesses, at the time, a young man (identity unknown) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37P7 – 2907 in the direction of Le Nin Avenue to Vinh airport. While the traffic light was indicating a stop, the motorbike driver rushed out of the intersection, just as a 4-seat car with license plate 37A – 047.23 was passing by.

The collision caused the motorbike to get stuck under the car. A jack had to be used to lift the car to get the motorbike out. Both vehicles were damaged. The victim suffered minor injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.

Immediately after receiving the news, Vinh City Traffic Police quickly arrived to resolve the incident and clear the traffic jam.
