In the knockout round, U15 Song Lam Nghe An faced U15 Kon Tum. This is the team ranked 3rd in Group B. Notably, the representative of the Central Highlands region suffered a heavy 0-6 defeat against U15 The Cong Viettel in the opening match of the final round. This makes many people believe that coach Le Manh Huy and his team have a great advantage in terms of mentality as well as professional level.

However, U15 Song Lam Nghe An was not complacent. The team's coaching staff still fielded the strongest lineup with a 4-2-3-1 formation. The four defenders included Van Canh, Van Tu, Minh Quan and Tuan Hung; the two central midfielders were Dinh Huy and Minh Chanh. On the two wings, Van Tai and Dinh Cuong took on the role of attacking and defending, while Duc Uy was positioned as an attacking midfielder, supporting the central striker Van Sang.

Given the tense nature of a knockout match, U15 Song Lam Nghe An entered the match with a certain caution. On the other side of the front line, U15 Kon Tum also proactively arranged a large number of players on the home field to ensure solidity in defense. Therefore, the first 20 minutes of the match passed in a tense situation, with very few notable opportunities created by either side.

The most notable situation in this period came in the 5th minute. From Van Tai's precise pass to the right wing, Dinh Cuong handled the ball in one step and then decisively shot. However, the ball went right to the position chosen by goalkeeper Nhat Tuong (U15 Kon Tum), unable to make a difference.

After a period of exploration, U15 Song Lam Nghe An began to push up their formation and regain control of the game. Coach Le Manh Huy's players organized flexible play, with smooth coordination between the center and the two wings.

In the 26th minute, from a situation on the right wing, Van Tai made a sensational cross into the central area. Duc Uy entered at the right time and fired a powerful volley, but unfortunately the ball went just over the crossbar, missing the opportunity to open the score for the young team from Nghe An.

Not stopping there, in the 34th minute, U15 Song Lam Nghe An continued to put pressure with a good combination in the middle. Duc Uy made a delicate pass for Van Sang to escape and face the goal. However, the first pass was not good, causing the number 22 striker's subsequent shot to lack the necessary force and danger to defeat goalkeeper Nhat Tuong.

Before the first half ended, the Nghe An team continued to have a clear opportunity from a free kick on the left wing. Dinh Cuong accurately hung the ball into the penalty area, Tuan Hung jumped high to head the ball dangerously, but goalkeeper Nhat Tuong once again had a brilliant reflex, making a spectacular save for U15 Kon Tum.

Entering the second half, the one-sided game continued to be maintained by U15 Song Lam Nghe An. With a diverse and methodical attacking style, Coach Le Manh Huy's students continuously put pressure and created many dangerous opportunities in front of goalkeeper Nhat Tuong's goal.

In the 63rd minute, the Nghe An team missed a golden opportunity. From a cross from Van Tai on the left wing, Thai Manh swooped in to cushion the ball when there was only an empty goal in front of him. However, the midfielder's shot went over the bar, leaving the audience in the stands feeling regretful.

However, U15 Song Lam Nghe An did not have to wait too long to get the opening goal. Just two minutes later, in the 65th minute, from a hard dribble on the right wing, Duc Uy went down the sideline and crossed for Van Tai to easily tap the ball into the net, putting the Nghe An team ahead 1-0.

During the remaining time, U15 Song Lam Nghe An proactively slowed down the pace of the match but still controlled the game well. They continued to create some dangerous situations, especially in counter-attacks.

And in the final minute of extra time, the yellow team doubled the gap. From a quick counter-attack, a teammate made a delicate pass for Van Ngoc to escape and face goalkeeper Nhat Tuong. In an open position, this midfielder fired a cool shot into the far corner, sealing a 2-0 victory for U15 Song Lam Nghe An.

This was also the final score of the Quarter-final match, thereby bringing coach Le Manh Huy and his team to the Semi-finals of the 2025 National U15 Tournament in a worthy manner.
