Wikileaks: US knew that Qatar and Saudi Arabia supported IS
The United States has known that Qatar and Saudi Arabia have provided financial and logistical support to the "Islamic State" terrorists. This is shown by a letter from former US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton published by Wikileaks.

In a letter titled "Western, US and Regional Intelligence Sources" in August 2014 sent to US presidential spokesman John Podesta, Mrs. Clinton emphasized that "Peshmarga (Kurdish armed forces) equipped with appropriate equipment and working with US advisors can attack IS through coordinated attacks supported by air support."
Mrs. Clinton also suggested looking into the possibility of providing the "Free Syrian Army" with special military gear that would allow them to defeat IS and step up campaigns against the Syrian regime.
