'X-Men', 'Deadpool' return in 2018
Fox has just announced the release dates for three new films in the “X-Men” franchise in 2018, including “New Mutants,” “Deadpool 2,” and “Dark Phoenix.”
Right after the new announcement of four Avatar sequels to be released from 2020, Fox continues to bring good news to fans. In 2018, audiences are preparing to enjoy three blockbusters of the X-Men brand including New Mutants, Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
The three superhero films are scheduled to be released to audiences on April 13, 2018, June 1, 2018, and November 2, 2018, respectively. It is a bit surprising that the mutant film Gambit, starring Channing Tatum, has yet to set a release date.

Of the three new X-Men films, director Josh Boone's New Mutants revolves around a group of young mutants including Wolfsbane (Maisie Williams), Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Cannonball (Nat Wolff). However, the film will feature a familiar face, Professor X, played by James McAvoy.
Having grossed over $780 million worldwide in early 2016, Deadpool is one of the most successful R-rated superhero movies of all time.
Part two of the story of the loud-mouthed, violent mutant portrayed by Ryan Reynolds and directed by David Leitch. Some new faces in Deadpool 2 include mutant Cable (Josh Brolin), Domino (Zazie Beetz)... Selected to be released in theaters on June 1, 2018, Deadpool 2 currently has no direct competitors at the box office.

Finally, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is the sequel to X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). Fox has not revealed much information about the blockbuster. But after Bryan Singer's departure, the work is likely to be directed and written by Simon Kinberg.
If nothing changes, Dark Phoenix will go head-to-head with Disney's live-action version of Mulan on November 2, 2018.
