Prosecuted 13 subjects for organizing illegal drug use at X-Men karaoke
Regarding the case of dozens of subjects testing positive for drugs at X-Men Karaoke (Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province), on the morning of September 3, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang province announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecuting 13 defendants for the crime of "Organizing illegal use of drugs".
The Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province issued a decision to prosecute and order temporary detention for 12 defendants, including: Trinh Van Binh (born in 1992), residing in Thanh Hoa province; Le Thanh Thuy (born in 2008), Nguyen Minh Tan (born in 1989), Tran Tan Hung (born in 1996), Tran Thi Thanh Truc (born in 1996), Tran Van Dinh (born in 1984), all residing in An Giang province; Le Van Nghia (born in 2005), residing in Ca Mau province; Trinh Kim Ngoc (born in 2009), residing in Vinh Long province; Nguyen Minh Quan (born in 2003), residing in Ninh Binh province; Nguyen Ngoc Duyen (born in 2003) and Nguyen Hoang Quyen (born in 1989), all residing in Can Tho city; prosecuted and issued an order prohibiting Le Thanh Ngan (born in 2004), residing in An Giang province.

Previously, at around 1:00 a.m. on August 22, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of An Giang Province Police coordinated with the Phu Quoc Special Zone Police and the Mobile Police Department, the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order to inspect the X-Men Karaoke bar (Ward 1, Duong Dong, Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province), discovering and catching red-handed in 4 karaoke rooms 17 customers singing and 13 employees (5 employees in the room, 8 employees outside) showing signs of drug use.illegal use of drugs. Conducting drug tests on the above guests and staff, the results showed that 23 people tested positive for drugs (including 9 staff). The seized evidence included 11 plastic bags containing crystals and 31 red tablets (drugs), 4 gas cylinders and many tools for illegal drug use.
Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and prosecute related subjects for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
