Agricultural production has changed dramatically. Some targets have been achieved and exceeded: Agricultural growth rate reached 4.42%; by the end of 2014, the value of agriculture, forestry and fishery accounted for 63.2%; industry and construction 13.5%; services 23.3%. Scientific and technical advances have been applied to production to improve productivity and quality, especially rice, corn and sugarcane varieties; to date, 75% of rice areas, 90% of corn areas and 60% of sugarcane areas use new varieties. Mechanization in agricultural production has been increasingly promoted.

The new rural movement has been actively responded by the people, people in hamlets and villages have donated land, trees, crops and assets to build new rural areas. The number of new rural works contributed by the people has increased, especially traffic roads and hamlet and village cultural houses; the total length of rural concrete roads has increased to 6.4 km. The cultural and social fields have changed significantly, the commune has continuously achieved the status of an advanced commune in education. The network of schools from kindergarten to junior high school has been planned reasonably, meeting the needs of teaching and learning. The quality of comprehensive education has changed significantly. Community learning centers operate more and more effectively. Every year, the number of managers and teachers with excellent grades, the number of students graduating and passing the entrance exams to universities and colleges has increased; 3/3 schools have been built to meet national standards, achieving 100% of the resolution targets.

The commune has also strived to meet national health standards. The infrastructure of the health station has been gradually invested in and effectively promoted, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment. Communication activities on population and family planning have been organized regularly and effectively, contributing to reducing the birth rate and improving the quality of the population; the population growth rate has decreased to 1.1%.

Social security policies, ethnic and mountainous policies, especially for the poor and policy beneficiaries, have been well taken care of and implemented, especially in the management and payment of regular subsidies for meritorious people and social protection beneficiaries. The work of hunger eradication, poverty reduction and job creation in the commune has achieved many important results; in 5 years, jobs have been created for 750 people, and 120 people have been sent abroad to work.

Chau Dinh Commune Party Committee always attaches importance to local defense and military work, regularly directs the practice of combat readiness plans, successfully completes the work of training, national defense education, military recruitment and military rear policies. It has well implemented the work of receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations in accordance with regulations, and preventing hot spots from occurring. Thanks to that, the political security situation - social order and safety in the commune in recent years has been consolidated and maintained.
