Chau Ly Commune (Quy Hop) meets national health standards for the 2011-2020 period.

(Baonghean.vn)- On September 10, Chau Ly commune (Quy Hop) held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition as a commune meeting the National Criteria for Health.

Over the past years, the cadres and people of Chau Ly highland commune have strived to achieve and exceed the 10 criteria issued by the Ministry of Health, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by all levels and sectors.

Awarding medical standard certificate to Chau Ly Commune Health Station

National health target programs to prevent some social diseases, dangerous epidemics and HIV/AIDS, environmental health programs, school health programs are regularly implemented and achieve over 90% effectiveness. The whole commune has more than 80% of households using clean water, nearly 80% of households have 3 sanitary facilities, 78% of households dispose of waste according to regulations. 90% of children of the right age are fully vaccinated.

The rate of malnourished children under 5 years old has dropped to only 17%. The station regularly coordinates with the Department of Population, Family and Children and the Women's Union to effectively carry out propaganda work and provide knowledge on "Primary health care, reproductive health, and parenting skills" with high results.

Last year, 90% of women of childbearing age used modern contraceptive methods and the number of pregnant women who received their third or more prenatal check-ups was over 60%. The rate of women giving birth at the health station was 100%. The medical examination and treatment work of the commune health station has been increasingly improved in quantity and quality.

Chau Ly commune currently has 6 cadres and civil servants working at the health station, including 1 doctor, the rest are doctors and nurses and 16 trained village nurses. Every year, there are no professional errors or violations of medical ethics due to lack of responsibility. Policies and regimes are fully implemented according to state regulations.
