Hung Tan Commune (Hung Nguyen): A bright spot in new rural construction

(Baonghean) - During more than 60 years of construction, fighting and growing up, generations of cadres and people of Hung Tan commune have made many worthy contributions to the revolutionary cause of their homeland and country. It is the first commune of Hung Nguyen district to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

In particular, in 2014, Hung Tan became a bright spot in the implementation of the national target program on new rural construction, finishing first in Hung Nguyen district, and was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Provincial People's Committee.

To effectively carry out emulation movements, every year, the Commune Emulation and Rewards Council advises the Party Committee and the Government to issue directive documents, organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards; promote the prevention and combat of negativity in the management of civil servants, public employees and emulation and rewards; strengthen administrative discipline and order... From the beginning of the year, plans are developed, emulation registration is launched, and typical examples are built in the patriotic emulation movement. The activities of the Emulation and Rewards Council are carried out in accordance with regulations; members of the Council are assigned specific tasks, and at the end of the year, emulation titles are reviewed publicly, democratically, and according to standards. In the past, the Emulation and Rewards Council and departments, branches, and units have organized patriotic emulation movements and registered for emulation from the beginning of the year. The movements all have specific content, targets and tasks, creating positive changes in departments, schools and hamlets.

Typical in the economic development movement, up to now the whole commune has 152 models of farms and livestock farms that have effectively promoted their efficiency. Typical are the farms of Mr. Ho Sy Tan's family in hamlet 1, Mr. Phan Trong Hung in hamlet 2, Mr. Ngo Xuan Nam in hamlet 6, Mr. Nguyen Trong Thinh and Mr. Ho Van Quang in hamlet 9... In particular, the aquaculture model with a new breed of fish with high economic value of raising basa fish of Mr. Phan Trong Hung in hamlet 2. His family has invested hundreds of millions of VND in the South to buy basa fish breeds for farming, bringing high income. To apply science and technology to production and farming, in 2014, the commune opened many training classes, breeding classes for farmers, organized field seminars...; the average income per capita reached 25 million VND/year. When the economy is stable, the cultural and spiritual life of the people is more focused. Up to now, 9/9 hamlets have achieved the title of Cultural Village, the synchronous system of cultural and sports facilities ensures sports practice, artistic activities, and group meetings. The commune has established a folk song club that operates very effectively, always achieving high results in competitions and performances. In 2014, the whole commune had 15 students admitted to universities, 6 excellent students of the province, 10 excellent students of the district. The commune has established a scholarship fund worth more than 50 million VND; 9/9 hamlets and clans have a scholarship fund, annually awarding students with high academic achievements. All 3 schools have maintained the title of national standard phase 1 and are excellent advanced units; the primary school maintains the national standard level 2. The cadres and employees of the commune's health sector regularly do a good job of taking care of people's health; doing a good job of preventing epidemics, examining and treating patients; Implementing national health programs well; in 2014, the health sector was recognized for completing its tasks excellently. The whole commune currently has 7/9 hamlets with no one having a third child; especially, there are 2 hamlets that have not had a third child or more for 20 consecutive years. Other organizations such as the Youth Union, Women's Union, Veterans Association, Elderly Association... have all completed their tasks excellently. Implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to promote "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", in recent times, many typical collectives and individuals have appeared, especially in "following" and have been honored and rewarded by all levels.

The above results are thanks to the fact that in recent years, the government apparatus has continued to promote operational efficiency, improve the sense of responsibility, the capacity of State management and administration, and the professional qualifications of cadres and civil servants. The cadres working at the "one-stop" transaction center operate effectively, without causing trouble for organizations and citizens when coming to transact, meeting the requirements of administrative reform. The internal government is highly united and operates according to the regulations and work programs that have been developed. The 2014 Conference of Commune Cadres and Civil Servants reviewed, evaluated and classified 18/18 cadres and civil servants who were recognized as advanced workers and were recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as Excellent Labor Collective; 3 individuals were recognized as grassroots emulation fighters; 2 collectives and 2 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the District People's Committee...

In 2015, Hung Tan continued to compete to promote initiatives, apply scientific and technological advances to all areas of social life. Shift the structure of crops and livestock, increase value per unit area, solve and create jobs for workers. Promote administrative reform, improve the efficiency of the "one-stop" transaction center. Mobilize all people to accelerate emulation movements to create favorable conditions for all people to participate in building a clean and strong Party and government; improve the quality of the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", push back social evils... Regularly coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches and organizations to organize emulation movements well. Departments, branches and organizations from commune to hamlet base on general targets to build specific emulation content and targets of their units. Pay attention to collective titles in hamlets, giving priority to individuals with many innovations in labor production.
