Khanh Thanh Commune - Yen Thanh District trains in worship rituals

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 11, Khanh Thanh commune coordinated with the Yen Thanh district Culture, Sports and Tourism Center to organize a training course on worship ceremonies for over 100 students who are patriarchs and eldest sons of clans in 4 communes: Khanh Thanh, Lien Thanh, Cong Thanh and Bao Thanh.

During the 10-day period, from September 11-21, the participants will be taught about the meaning of worship; the basic parts of a funeral; funeral music, funeral prayers, how to compose prayers, the content of a eulogy, the steps of the funeral ceremony, the funeral oration, mourning clothes, mourning items, Buddha images, how to set up a funeral altar, funeral prayers, and burial styles.

The participants were also provided with various supplementary materials on the rituals. Through this training, the members will have a better grasp of the basic principles to become good performers in the rituals.
