Lien Hop Commune (Quy Hop): Focus on improving people's lives
(Baonghean) - Overcoming many difficulties, in the 2010-2015 term, the Party Committee and people of Lien Hop commune strived to achieve the set goals and targets. The results created a fairly good socio-economic growth, national defense and security were maintained... Up to now, the basic targets have all been achieved: The total estimated production value in 2015 reached more than 26.2 billion VND, the average growth rate during the term was 7%; the estimated agricultural - forestry - fishery production value in 2015 reached over 18 billion VND; the average income per capita in 2015 reached 12.36 million VND.
The movement of all people joining hands to build new rural areas has been widely deployed throughout the commune and has been supported by the people. Up to now, 167 households have donated land to the collective with an area of 9,345.23m2. There have been many changes in the cultural and social fields. Every year, the mobilization of children to preschool reaches 95-100%, primary school reaches 100%; the staff and teachers are strengthened in terms of quality and sufficient in quantity... The movement to build a new cultural life, build a cultural lifestyle in weddings, funerals, eliminate superstitions and backward customs has been given attention; every year, hamlets and villages add them to the village covenants and conventions. Cultural, artistic and sports activities are organized regularly.

Health, population, family and children work has changed positively, national health programs and goals have been well implemented; up to now, health stations have doctors, the quality of medical examination and treatment has been gradually improved, no major epidemics have occurred; population work and family planning have been propagated to every village, child protection and care work has made much progress.
The implementation of social policies has always been directed and cared for by the Party Committee, providing adequate policy goods and relief for ethnic minorities and poor households, creating jobs for 150 workers. In the past 5 years, temporary and dilapidated houses have been eliminated (32 houses under program 167 with a total cost of 268.8 million VND), 7 solidarity houses have been built with a total cost of 140 million VND, reducing the poverty rate from 40% in 2011 to 31.01% in 2014.

Local military and defense work was carried out synchronously. The Party Committee and the government paid attention to and directed the handling of citizen complaints and denunciations, not allowing them to linger for a long time, causing resentment among the people. During the term, 26 petitions were received and resolved according to the authority of the commune level; there were no petitions that went beyond the level.
The implementation of the 4th Central Resolution of the 11th tenure “Some urgent issues on Party building at present” has been carried out by Party committees at all levels and the entire political system with a high sense of responsibility, seriously, and in accordance with procedures and regulations. Thereby, the Party committees and the collective leadership, cadres and Party members have more clearly defined their responsibilities, enhanced the spirit of solidarity in carrying out assigned responsibilities, and strengthened the trust of cadres, Party members and the people.
From the results achieved in the past term, the Party Committee of Lien Hop commune has drawn lessons: Regularly pay attention to the leadership and direction of the task of consolidating and building a strong political system in all aspects. Well implement the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, promote the people's mastery. Strengthen and promote the internal strength, potentials and strengths of the commune, while taking advantage of the help and support of superiors in all areas. Along with that, the issuance of resolutions, the development of planning, plans, programs, projects... must be on a scientific basis, suitable to the situation of the commune, ensuring high feasibility. Focus on forecasting, timely adjustment, proposing appropriate solutions, regularly inspecting and urging, associated with promoting the responsibility, pioneering, exemplary, "words go hand in hand with actions" of cadres and party members, especially leaders.
Entering the new term (2015-2020), the Party Committee, government and people of Lien Hop commune set the following goals: Strengthening solidarity and unity within the entire Party and people, mobilizing all available resources and strengths, taking advantage of the support and investment from superiors to gradually and successfully build the criteria for new rural construction. Accelerating economic growth, increasing investment in intensive farming and applying scientific and technological advances to increase crop and livestock productivity, improving people's material and spiritual life, maintaining political stability, national defense - security and social order and safety; improving the capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and Party cells, building a clean and strong government, the Fatherland Front and political organizations; striving for the Party Committee to achieve the title of "Strong and Strong" every year.

Main targets by 2020: In terms of economy, total production value: 62,581,171 million VND; average growth rate of 8 - 9%; of which: Value of agriculture - forestry - fishery: 29,462,899 million VND, annual growth rate: 8%; value of industrial production - handicrafts - construction: 5,402,549 million VND; value of commercial services: 3,344,426 million VND. Average income per capita by 2020 will reach 30 million VND/year; strive to achieve 8/19 criteria on building new rural areas by 2020. Regarding culture and society: Mobilize 100% of 5-year-old children to go to school; universalize primary education to 100%; reduce the annual birth rate to 0.8%; create an average of 150 jobs per year for workers; reduce the annual poverty rate to 2.5 - 3.5%; increase the rate of cultural families from 65% to 70%; and increase the rate of trained workers to 30%. |
