Premise for development

Luong Son commune was established on the basis of merging Bai Son, Dong Son, Hong Son, and Trang Son communes of the former Do Luong district; with a total natural area of ​​47.39 km2; the commune's population is 6,695 households with 26,494 people distributed in 21 hamlets. The Party Committee has 1,134 members, operating in 38 Party Committees and Party cells.

Implementing the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the Party Congresses of previous communes in the 2020 - 2025 term, the locality recorded many outstanding results, creating a premise for development in the following years.

The economy has been growing continuously, with an average estimated growth rate of 9.02% per year. Total grain output to date has reached 5,475.39 tons. Livestock continues to develop in the direction of concentrated farms and households associated with ensuring environmental hygiene, many livestock models bring high economic efficiency.

The small-scale industry, trade and service sectors continue to grow, gradually increasing the proportion of the economic structure. Currently, in the whole commune, there are 37 high-end woodworking establishments; 14 establishments producing unburnt bricks; 55 establishments producing vermicelli, rice noodles, rice paper, pork sausage, beef sausage; producing tea bags and Solanum procumbens extract; 86 households engaged in transportation; 35 large and small stores and 12 grocery distributors; 68 private companies and enterprises operating effectively.

During the term, the commune will make the most of investment capital from the higher-level budget and actively mobilize local resources to invest in construction, renovation, and upgrading of social works, economic infrastructure, and key traffic works to invest in developing socio-economic infrastructure.

The National Target Program on New Rural Construction has achieved many outstanding results. The total mobilized resources for investment in new rural construction reached 192.2 billion VND, of which the capital invested from the state budget (Central, Provincial, District, Commune) was 168 billion VND, and the people contributed 24.2 billion VND to invest in construction works. During the term, Dong Son and Trang Son communes met the advanced new rural standards.

The cultural and social fields have achieved many new achievements. Education has achieved quite comprehensive results, with remarkable progress in quality. Culture and sports have developed in the right direction, achieving many important results. Science, technology and digital transformation have been focused on and achieved many positive results, contributing to promoting socio-economic development.

Health care, population, protection, care and improvement of people's health have changed positively, with many new advances. Employment and social security have been focused on, with active and effective participation achieving many outstanding results. National defense has been consolidated and enhanced, security, social order and safety have been firmly ensured.

The work of building the Party and the political system has been regularly focused on, innovated, and has undergone strong changes; the effectiveness and efficiency of management, direction, and administration of authorities at all levels have been improved. Implement synchronous solutions to call for and attract investment projects in the industrial sector to create jobs for rural workers, increase budget revenue, and contribute to socio-economic development. Continue to encourage people to maintain and develop existing industries in the area, producing construction materials, civil carpentry, high-grade carpentry, producing cakes, vermicelli, noodles, etc.
