Nghi Phu Commune meets parishioners on the occasion of Christmas 2014
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 19, Nghi Phu commune organized a meeting with the parish pastoral council, parishes of Yen Dai parish and representatives of parishioners in the area on the occasion of Christmas 2014.
Attending the event were representatives of leaders of departments, Vinh City Party Committee, People's Committee, Nghi Phu Commune Party Committee, along with dignitaries and representatives of Yen Dai parish.

Yen Dai Parish (Nghi Phu Commune - Vinh City) has 3 sub-parishes: Dong Kien, Dong Tan and Dong Yen with 1,350 households (5,544 people). It is currently the parish with the largest number of parishioners among the parishes in Vinh City. Coordination in many areas between the parish pastoral council and the local government is regularly maintained closely, achieving high efficiency. The parishioners here all vow to "Respect God, Love the Country", strive to build their homeland and develop the economy in each household, aiming to live "a good life and a good religion".

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Chairman of the Parish Pastoral Council, thanked the authorities and leaders at all levels for their attention and support for the material and spiritual lives of parishioners.
On this occasion, Vinh city government presented nearly 100 gifts to outstanding individuals of the parish during the year (each gift worth 200,000 VND). In addition, Nghi Phu commune People's Committee also presented gifts to 3 chairmen of the pastoral council of 3 parishes.
