Nghia Binh Commune was established in 1995, by the end of 2011, after being separated to establish Nghia Dan Town, Nghia Binh Commune has soon stabilized its organizational structure, its staff is united, cooperative, dynamic, and responsible in performing its tasks, creating trust and consensus among the people, overcoming difficulties and making efforts to successfully implement the resolution set by the Commune Party Congress. In the period of 2012 - 2015, the commune's economy achieved an average growth rate of 15.35%; the total production value reached 110,695 billion VND, a growth rate of 13.01%; the average income per capita was 20,657,000 VND/year. In agricultural - forestry - fishery production, industrial crop areas and concentrated raw material crops (sugarcane, corn) have been formed and strongly developed. Livestock farming has developed quite well and is becoming a key economic sector. Agricultural and fishery extension work has been promoted with the application of many scientific and technological advances in production. During the past term, Nghia Binh had a major change in infrastructure, renewing 18,418 km of rural roads with concrete, building new offices of the Commune People's Committee, multi-functional cultural house, commune health station; building, upgrading and repairing 6 hamlet cultural houses and 7 classrooms...

There have been many advances in social culture. The quality of mass and key education has been improved; the graduation rate at all levels reached 98.3%, in 5 years, 260 students passed the entrance exams to universities and colleges. The commune was recognized for universalizing primary education at the right age and completing the universalization of lower secondary education. The grassroots health network has been strengthened, primary health care for the people has been given attention. The commune health station has been recognized for meeting the national criteria for commune health in the period 2011 - 2020. In the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, from 2012 - 2014, 48 poor households and 3 makeshift bamboo and thatch houses were eliminated; 11 houses of poor households were repaired with a total amount of 36.5 million VND. The poverty rate has been reduced from 6.25% (in 2012) to 4.46%. National defense and security in the area are maintained, social order and safety are ensured. In the 2015 - 2020 term, Nghia Binh commune continues to attract and mobilize maximum resources for development investment to create an important shift in economic development, especially in trade and services. Focus on directing the effective exploitation of land for growing industrial crops and raw materials, forming commodity production areas; raising livestock to become the main production sector; planning the development of raw material corn growing areas to serve the district's concentrated industrial dairy farming project; encouraging the construction of farm and family economic models; intensive cultivation to increase productivity of specialized industrial crop and fruit tree growing areas... Continue to improve the quality of 19 criteria, build a new rural model of "4 has", which are: having synchronous economic and technical infrastructure, having improved economic life, having cultural life, and good ecological environment. Striving for Nghia Binh to become a typical new rural commune of the district.

Central Area (Binh Thanh, Binh Lam, Binh Hanh hamlets): Developing trade, services and small-scale industries, craft villages, industrial crops and raw material crops (sugarcane and corn).

Western and Northwestern regions (Binh Nghia, Binh Hai, Dong Chua hamlets): Serving the planning of milk processing factories, rubber latex processing factories, fertilizer factories, waste treatment factories, industrial crops (rubber trees) and raw material crops (sugarcane and corn).

Northern region (Binh Yen hamlet, Binh Thai): Serving concentrated industrial dairy farming projects and industrial crops (rubber trees).

In terms of culture and society, we focus on developing and preserving national cultural identity; creating bright spots and high achievements in the fields of culture, sports and physical training; investing in infrastructure for cultural houses in 8 hamlets; focusing on improving the quality of comprehensive education and key education; continuing to maintain and improve the quality of universalizing lower secondary education, aiming at universalizing upper secondary education; improving the quality of activities to build funds for the poor, helping the poor rise up...
