Nghia Hong Commune (Nghia Dan): Striving to create new position and strength

(Baonghean) - During the 2010 - 2015 term, Nghia Hong commune made efforts to overcome difficulties and achieve results in all fields; the targets set by the Congress Resolution for the term were all achieved and exceeded, creating a solid momentum for the goal of rapid and sustainable development in the next period.

Nghia Hong is a commune established on the basis of Co Do Farm according to Decree No. 83/1995/ND-CP of the Government. Implementing the Resolution of the 4th Party Congress, term 2010 - 2015, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the management of the Commune People's Committee, the solidarity and efforts of the political system and the people, Nghia Hong has overcome difficulties, effectively utilized potentials and advantages to develop and create new positions and strengths.

First of all, the economic structure shifted in a positive direction: reducing the proportion of agriculture - forestry - fishery to 38.15%; increasing the proportion of industry - construction to 37% (exceeding 11.7%); total production value of 103,732 billion VND; average annual economic growth rate of 11%; production value per capita of 18.9 million VND/year; budget revenue of 2.1 billion VND...

Services are strongly developed in Nghia Hong commune.

In the field of agriculture - forestry - fishery, although the weather is complicated, with the direction of the Party Committee, the government, the efforts of the people, especially focusing on applying technical factors, arranging each type of crop and livestock suitable to the season and soil, productivity and output increased. Total food output reached 1,200 tons, an increase of 200 tons compared to the beginning of the term. The proportion of small-scale industry - construction and development of industries: agricultural and forestry processing, mechanical processing, carpentry and construction materials production...

During the term, through mobilizing resources, we invested in building 6 kindergarten classrooms, 4 primary school classrooms, mobilizing people to donate land, dismantle fences, contribute money and labor to build more than 13 km of concrete roads in hamlets, upgrade Nghia Hong market with a capital of more than 12 billion VND; attract investment in other infrastructure projects and works, such as building Hong Duc hamlet pumping station, Khe Ang 1, Khe Ang 2 bridge, Khe Den bridge with a total capital of over 80 billion VND. Trade and services continued to be focused on development, diversifying service types, meeting local needs as well as other communes, increasingly defining the position of the center of the Northwest commune cluster of Nghia Dan district.

In the field of culture and society, we have paid close attention to and directed closely to well implement the set goals and targets, with many positive results, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. The movement to build cultural villages and cultural families continues to develop, with 11 villages and 1 unit achieving the cultural title, an increase of 2 villages compared to the beginning of the term, 14/14 hamlets have a meeting hall to serve people's activities, and 84% of families have achieved the title of Cultural Family. Education has received attention, improving the quality of key and mass education. Primary health care for the people has been focused on, achieving the national criteria for health in the period 2011 - 2020.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of hunger eradication and poverty reduction solutions, the poverty rate is only 1.7%, down 1.99% compared to the beginning of the term. National defense and security are maintained, social order and safety are ensured. Party building work is taken care of, the political system is consolidated, internal solidarity is well built, creating solidarity and high consensus in the process of implementing resolutions... A highlight in Party building is that the Party Committee has issued and implemented Resolution No. 19 - NQ/DU of the Party Committee on improving the quality of Party cell activities. During the term, 31 Party members were admitted, and official party transfer procedures were completed for 19 probationary Party members...

Entering the period of 2015 - 2020, implementing the Resolution of the 5th Party Congress of the commune, Nghia Hong continues to promote the advantages of resources for investment and development, with the view of continuing to innovate the leadership methods of the Party Committee, the management and operation of the government, promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and people's organizations, uniting, successfully implementing the goals and targets set by the resolution of the Party Congress of the commune, striving to build Nghia Hong into a town, becoming one of the newly developed communes, the center of the Northwest cluster of Nghia Dan district. To achieve the above goals, it is necessary to focus on implementing the following main solutions:

Firstly, agricultural development associated with new rural construction: Actively transform the crop structure reasonably, invest in intensive cultivation of new high-yield varieties, stabilize specialized agricultural and industrial crop areas such as rubber, orange, coffee, rice, sugarcane and annual crop land. Promote the development of large-scale livestock farming in both quantity and quality, in the direction of goods.

Second, encourage the development of small-scale handicraft industries such as production of wooden furniture, construction materials, agricultural tools, noodle and cake production facilities, transportation, mechanical repair, etc.

Third, mobilize and use resources effectively to build infrastructure and welfare works, prioritize key works serving people's lives and socio-economic development, associated with good implementation of site clearance work in the area, creating the most favorable conditions for investors as well as the construction of works and projects related to people.

Fourth, pay attention to investing in facilities, improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools, effectively implementing the socialization of education, striving for kindergartens and secondary schools to meet national standards by 2020; taking care of people's health care, maintaining the title of a commune that meets the National Criteria for Health in the period 2011 - 2020. Well managing cultural services in the area, building a healthy cultural environment. Perfecting the system of cultural and sports institutions that meet national standards from communes to hamlets. Well implementing the policy of gratitude, policy families, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Doing a good job in job creation, promoting labor export. Effectively implementing the national target program on hunger eradication, poverty reduction and social security policies.

Fifth, focus on Party building, a strong political system, create solidarity and unity within the Party, consensus among the people, concretize the Congress Resolution with specific programs and projects, strive to build Nghia Hong commune to develop comprehensively and strongly, becoming a new development center of the Northwest region of Nghia Dan district.
