Nghia Khanh Commune launched construction of new rural roads

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction from now to 2020, on the morning of January 21, at Troi hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan, the Commune Women's Union coordinated with the Veterans Association to launch a campaign to build rural roads.

Members enthusiastically join hands to build new rural roads

As a model commune of Nghia Dan district, after more than 2 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Nghia Khanh has achieved 15/19 criteria. In 2014, although investment resources for new rural construction were limited, right from the beginning of the year, the Steering Committee for New Rural Construction of the commune proactively directed the implementation of items using less funds to complete the targets.

Based on the State and the people working together, the Commune Women's Union coordinated with the Veterans Association to mobilize more than 1,000 members to contribute money and working days to widen the road with concrete. On the first day of the campaign, the members and people in the hamlet poured more than 300 meters of village road according to new rural standards.
