Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the direction of the People's Committee, and the drastic implementation of the political system and the people, Nghia Trung commune basically achieved and exceeded the targets set by the Resolution of the Congress of the last term. The total production value reached more than 132 billion VND, an increase of 148% compared to the beginning of the term. The annual economic growth rate reached 9.2%; the economic structure shifted in the right direction, reducing the proportion of agriculture, gradually increasing the proportion of trade and services; the average income per capita was over 16 million VND/year; the total budget revenue and funds were over 6.6 billion VND; the poverty rate was 7.5%.

In the field of agricultural production, the clear mark is the good implementation of Directive No. 08 - CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, the development of plans, the organization of land consolidation, plot exchange and field improvement in 18 hamlets. The propaganda work was done well, mobilizing people to apply scientific and technological advances, new crop varieties into production for high productivity; the total food output for the whole term reached 12,966 tons, an average of 369 kg/person/year, an increase of 27 kg compared to the beginning of the term. Trade - services increased the number of business establishments from 74 households to 104 households. Industry - small industry - basic construction had many positive changes, gradually forming concentrated civil carpentry production establishments, small mechanical repair and private construction. Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development, gradually upgrading the transport infrastructure system and lakes and dams to serve production and people's travel. The total investment capital for construction and development during the term reached 28.13 billion VND, of which the people contributed 3.1 billion VND...

Culture and society have many progressive results. The spiritual life of the people has also been increasingly improved, the movement of the whole people to build a cultural life has gone into depth; 73% of households have met the cultural family standard. Education and training work has been focused on with many solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning at all levels; during the term, over 7.7 billion VND has been invested in building facilities for schools, of which over 1.5 billion VND has been mobilized from social resources. The Party Committee has directed the good implementation of national target programs on health, disease prevention and control, in 2012 the commune was recognized as meeting national health standards. The Party Committee and the government have paid due attention to social policy work, doing a good job of caring for policy beneficiaries, building a "Gratitude" Fund of 135 million VND, building and repairing 5 gratitude houses.

Thanks to the good implementation of the hunger eradication and poverty reduction program, the poverty rate has decreased from 417 households (23.4%) at the beginning of the term to 138 households (7.5%). National defense and security have been maintained, social order and safety have been ensured. The Party Committee has taken care of Party building and consolidated a strong political system. During the term, Resolution No. 03-NQ/DU on building a strong Party organization and Party cells has been developed, issued and implemented. Therefore, the quality of grassroots Party organizations has been significantly improved, from 11/24 Party cells to now 18/24 Party cells have achieved the title of Strong Party Cell, and the Party Committee has achieved the title of Strong Party Cell for 3 years. It can be said that to achieve quite comprehensive results in the past term, the lesson learned is that it is necessary to propose resolutions that are close to and true to the actual situation, lead the implementation resolutely, attach importance to solidarity within the Party, the political system, as well as the entire people as the basis and have high political determination.

Entering the 2015-2020 term, Nghia Trung continues to promote its advantage of being located between the major economic and cultural centers of Nghia Dan district and Thai Hoa town, with land potential, a complete irrigation system, abundant labor resources... With the spirit of "solidarity - democracy - innovation - creativity - responsibility", the locality is determined to strive to become a fairly good unit of the district center by 2020. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to carry out well the following basic tasks and solutions:

In the field of agriculture - forestry - fishery: Focus on fundamentally converting crops with high productivity, output and economic value. Build models of production cooperatives to create conditions to promote production and business, encourage the development of household economy, gradually increase the scale of livestock farming, improve breeds, guide farmers to plan reasonable barns associated with preventing environmental pollution from livestock farming. Focus on developing forest economy; mobilize people to renovate and plant new forests to provide raw materials for MDF wood processing factory. Direct the conversion of garden land and hill land to fruit trees, striving to reach 40 hectares of fruit trees with high economic value.

Develop 3 areas with specific conditions in accordance with the approved planning according to the new rural project in the following direction: Hamlets from Dap Be to Tan Trung develop commercial services, small-scale industry, flower and clean vegetable growing areas and pilot the fish-rice farming model. Hamlets in the North of Sao River develop agriculture associated with small-scale services, maintain existing sugarcane areas, gradually convert crops, renovate and plant raw material forests, take advantage of developing cattle and goat farming for goods. Hamlets in the South of Sao River focus on converting to fruit tree and vegetable growing, renovate and plant raw material forests, take advantage of developing cattle and goat farming for goods.

Industry, handicrafts and basic construction: Encourage and facilitate the strong development of medium-sized mechanical production and repair facilities and vocational training suitable for young workers, opening up new industries and services that the market needs.

Trade and service sector: Promoting the advantage of being close to the traffic axis, encouraging investment in developing multi-industry business activities, diversifying services of supplying materials and goods for agricultural production, purchasing agricultural products, encouraging the opening of services serving the TH Milk Factory area and industrial park projects of the district bordering the area, expanding general consumer service points, food and beverage services, motels and other services.

Cultural and social fields: Focus on developing education and training in the spirit of Resolution 8 of the Central Committee (11th tenure) on "Comprehensive fundamental innovation of education and training". Focus on improving overall quality, striving for primary schools to reach national standards level II by 2018, gradually completing the criteria for meeting standards in secondary schools and maintaining the title of standard schools in preschools. Implement national health programs well in the area, take care of building a team of medical staff with good moral qualities and high expertise. Strive to reduce the poverty rate according to the current standards to 5%, pay attention to labor export, the number of new workers is expected to be from 200 - 300 people and develop small-scale handicrafts to solve employment for local workers. Regularly do a good job of social security, social policies, care for policy beneficiaries...
