Quynh Thang commune was established on the basis of merging two previous communes, Quynh Thang and Tan Thang. After the merger, the commune has a natural area of ​​107.99 km², a population of 15,313 people. The commune Party Committee has 39 affiliated Party organizations with 526 party members. In the past term, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the spirit of solidarity and high determination of the entire political system, the consensus of all classes of people, the Party Committees of the communes before the merger have made efforts to overcome, focusing on leading the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the Congress Resolution for the term 2020 - 2025, achieving many important and comprehensive results in all fields.

The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many important results; the leadership role, fighting strength, and quality of cadres and party members have been increasingly improved. The Party Committee and the commune government have focused on directing the effective implementation of key programs. Since then, the total product value (SS 2010 price) by 2025 is estimated at 1,118.6 billion VND, an increase of 64.5% compared to 2020; an increase of 0.6% compared to the Congress target; economic growth rate of 9.7%, the Congress target (last term) is 9-9.6%, of which: Agriculture, forestry and fishery 5.1% / Congress target 4% (an increase of 0.9%); Industry - Construction 18.94% / Congress target 18.3% (an increase of 0.64%); Services 10%.

The economic structure has shifted in the right direction: Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery 55.04%; Industry - Construction 21.95%; Services 23.01%. The average income per capita in 2025 is estimated at 59.3 million VND, an increase of 63.8% compared to 2020, achieving the Congress's target (last term). As a mountainous commune with fertile land resources, Quynh Thang commune focuses on promoting agricultural, forestry and fishery production. Thanks to that, food output in 2025 is estimated at 4,100 tons. Some major crops with stable income and high economic value are focused on by the people for development such as pineapple, vetiver, sugarcane... Farm and family economic models are developing quite well, the total product value (2010 comparative price) in 2025 in the agricultural sector is estimated at 541.11 billion VND, an increase of 43.6% compared to 2020, an average increase of 8.7%/year.

Industry and handicrafts have developed quite well, creating a driving force for infrastructure and socio-economic development, creating jobs in the area, contributing to improving people's lives in all aspects such as Tuynel brick factory, wood peeling, wood processing and garment factories operating effectively, creating jobs and increasing income for many local workers. The planning and construction of infrastructure, socio-economic, traffic and irrigation have received local investment with a total estimated value of over 88.8 billion VND. Trade and services have developed quite well. Other economic sectors have developed diversely with 521 individual trading households; 25 enterprises and 7 cooperatives operating effectively.

The cultural and social fields continue to have many positive changes, playing an important role in the harmonious and sustainable development of the locality. The whole commune currently has 5/6 schools meeting national standards. The movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" is widely deployed. Social security work is deployed synchronously and promptly. Policy families, people with meritorious services and social protection beneficiaries are taken care of carefully. Security and national defense are strengthened, political security and social order and safety are ensured.

Joining the flow of entering a new era - the era of national growth, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Quynh Thang Commune Party Committee focuses on leading and directing comprehensive and sustainable development on all three pillars: economy - society - national defense and security; in which economic development is the center, Party building is the key, cultural and human development is the spiritual foundation, ensuring national defense and security is essential and regular.

Develop a master plan for Quynh Thang commune as a basis for building an industrial park to attract businesses to invest; have a service industry associated with eco-tourism development; develop agriculture in the direction of increasing added value. At the same time, promote economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of services - industry - agriculture, promote the advantages of new rural areas to develop commodity agricultural economy, clean agriculture, associated with building OCOP products and building advanced new rural areas.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the Party Committee of Quynh Thang commune sets out 8 targets in various fields, striving for the total product value (compared to 2010 prices) to reach 1,815 - 1,830 billion VND. The average annual growth rate of total product value in the area is 10.1%. The average annual growth rate of total state budget revenue in the area is 10-12% (from 1-1.1 billion VND). The average income per capita in the area by 2030 compared to 2025 will increase by 63.7%. The rate of poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard by 2030 is under 1%. The rate of schools meeting national standards is 100%...

Along with that, the Quynh Thang Commune Party Committee identified 3 key programs: Promoting internal resources, promoting investment attraction to gradually form industrial clusters; Vuc Mau Lake and Khe Lai eco-tourism areas. Completing the general planning of Quynh Thang Commune, gradually building urban areas; high-tech agricultural production areas. Continuing to focus on prioritizing resources to invest in school facilities and equipment to improve the quality of education.

To successfully achieve the set goals and targets, the Quynh Thang Commune Party Committee focuses on breakthrough solutions, which are: Mobilizing resources, integrating many target programs, implementing preferential policies, calling on economic sectors, organizations and individuals to participate in investing in building infrastructure systems. The focus is on traffic infrastructure, building schools, medical facilities, markets, upgrading and renovating the power grid... Along with that are solutions to support businesses, improve the investment environment, and effectively implement investment attraction policies.

Effectively exploit land and forest resources for comprehensive agricultural development. Based on the current crop structure, encourage people to invest in improving productivity and developing crops on hills such as incense, pineapple, sugarcane and fruits with high economic value. Attract investment and diversify to improve the quality of service types and products to meet the needs inside and outside the commune, prioritizing the development of high-quality services.

Improve the quality of cadres and civil servants, including promoting awareness, responsibility, public ethics, legal knowledge and working skills. Promote digital transformation in Party, State, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to strive for 100% of online public services provided on various media by 2030.
