(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 29, 2015, Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district solemnly held the 85th anniversary of the establishment of Quynh Thuan commune Party Committee and the ceremony to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces (LLVT) awarded by the President.

At the ceremony, the speech of the representative of the Party Committee and the government of Quynh Thuan commune reviewed the 85-year tradition of formation and development of the Party Committee of the commune, highlighting the position and role of the Party Committee of the commune as one of the cradles of the Communist Party and the Soviet revolutionary movement in 1930-1931 and the General Uprising to seize power in August 1945. Next, promoting the revolutionary tradition, the army and people of Quynh Thuan commune have made many contributions on the two fronts of "rear base" and "front line" when they had extremely outstanding achievements in the two resistance wars against French colonialism, against the US and to protect the Fatherland, actively contributing to the cause of building and innovating the homeland and country.
