Thai Son Commune (Do Luong) receives the certificate of recognition for Tinh Gia Carpentry Village

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of March 26, at the cultural house of hamlet 7, Thai Son commune (Do Luong), the People's Committee of Thai Son commune solemnly held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition for Tinh Gia carpentry village.

Tinh Gia carpentry village was formed in 1958, mainly producing agricultural production tools and processing agricultural products. In 1963 - 1964, the village was awarded the title of Excellent Unit in the labor production movement by Prime Minister Pham Van Dong. In 1970 - 1980, artisans in the village joined the industrial team of Thai Hoa Cooperative and further developed the production of household wooden products. After 1986, the carpentry village has 17 production workshops, attracting 67/127 regular workers in the carpentry profession. In 2012, the total production value of the village reached 40.4 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice President of Nghe An Cooperative Alliance awarded the certificate of recognition to Tinh Gia Carpentry Village.

From the results achieved in 2012, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 4950/QD - UBND dated December 7, 2012, awarding a certificate recognizing Tinh Gia Carpentry Village as a provincial craft village.

This is an opportunity for Tinh Gia carpentry village to invest in development, build product brands, meet the increasing needs of society, and contribute to increasing people's income.
