(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 10, officials of the People's Committee of Lien Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) said that the two young men riding a motorbike from the South to Nghe An to celebrate Tet who had a tragic accident on the afternoon of February 7 were locals and brothers.

The older brother, Nguyen Dinh Tien (born in 1994), died, and his younger brother, Nguyen Dinh Dong (born in 1999), also residing in Lien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh, was seriously injured and is being treated in Binh Dinh.

It is known that Mr. Tien has just completed his military service and was discharged more than a year ago. Mr. Dong has also been recruited for military service. Dong plans to join the army after returning home from the South to celebrate Tet.

Relatives also said that Dong had just come to the South to do business with his brother for about a month.

Due to difficult circumstances, Mr. Tien was able to buy a motorbike on installments and decided that both brothers would ride their motorbikes from the South to Nghe An to celebrate Tet with their mother and father.

However, when driving on National Highway 1A to Binh Dinh, he was hit by a passenger bus.

On the afternoon of February 9, after hearing the bad news that "his two children had an accident in Binh Dinh", Mr. Nguyen Dinh Su (father of the two victims) ran to borrow 6 million VND from his neighbors to rent a car to Binh Dinh with two cousins.

On the way to Ha Tinh, the tire blew out, and at the same time, Mr. Su received the bad news that one of his two sons had died in an accident. The pain was too great, Mr. Su and his two uncles held back their tears, waited for the tire to be changed, then continued their journey to receive Mr. Tien's body and take care of Mr. Dong who was in the emergency room at the hospital.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (Tien and Dong's aunt) said in tears: "Tet is coming, it's so sad, Su's family is having a hard time. Because the car broke down on the way, until this morning, February 10, the children's father and two uncles still haven't reached Binh Dinh."

In the copy of the household registration book, it is written: Nguyen Dinh Dong (born August 9, 1999, place of birth Lien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An)...

Immediately after that, many people shared the above image and commented, hoping to find the relatives of the two accident victims. Many people commented, sympathizing with the tragic accident, "so painful", "so pitiful"...

The Facebook community is calling for donations to support Mr. Su's family to bring Mr. Tien's body back to his hometown for burial and to have funds to treat Mr. Dong.
