Identifying the male and female couple who died in a 2-story house in Vinh Tan ward

(Baonghean.vn)- The male victim was identified as Nguyen Quoc Binh (born in 1987) from Dak Lak province. The female victim was identified as Hoang Thi Giang (born in 1986), residing in Nghia Hoi commune, Nghia Dan district. Initially, the police confirmed that the two-story house where the bodies of the two victims were found was locked from the inside, with no signs of strangers breaking in from the outside.

As reported, on the morning of August 2, some residents of Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City, discovered a foul odor coming from a two-story house. Breaking the door to enter the house, they were shocked to discover the body of a man hanging on the first floor, and on the second floor, the body of a dead woman on the bed.

On the afternoon of August 2, Colonel Tran Ngoc Tu (Head of Vinh City Police) said: the autopsy of the bodies of two victims found dead in a rented house in lane 237, Ngo Duc Ke street, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city has been basically completed.

At the scene where the bodies of the two victims were found, the male victim was found hanging on the first floor; the female victim was found lying on a bed on the second floor, covered with a blanket. “All the doors of the house were locked from the inside, there were no signs of strangers coming in. It is possible that the couple committed suicide,” said Colonel Tu.

According to Colonel Tran Ngoc Tu, the house where the two victims' bodies were found was the motel Giang rented a few months ago. Giang and Binh were just lovers, not husband and wife.
