Specifically, each liter of RON 92 gasoline increased by 434 VND per liter, E5 gasoline increased by 385 VND per liter; oil products also increased in price by 408 - 473 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.

After adjustment, the price of mineral gasoline increased to a maximum of VND18,580 per liter; E5 gasoline to VND18,243 per liter; diesel to VND15,019 per liter; kerosene to VND13,617 per liter and mazut to a maximum of VND12,382 per kilogram.

Along with the increase in selling prices, the authorities also decided to increase the amount of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil products. Specifically, the expenditure on the Price Stabilization Fund will increase from 300 VND per liter for RON 92 and E5 gasoline to 600 VND per liter. Increase 60 - 200 VND per liter and kg from the stabilization fund for oil products.

The basis for the increase in domestic gasoline and oil prices, according to the regulatory agency, is due to the sharp increase in the world average price of gasoline and oil in the past 15 days.
