Green again Cha Ha river
(Baonghean) - Khe Cha Ha flows through the communes of Yen Tinh, Yen Na and Yen Hoa of Tuong Duong district, then meets the Nam Ngan stream and flows into the Huoi Nguyen river. Not only valuable for its landscape and environment, Cha Ha also provides irrigation water for rice fields, and provides fish and shrimp for people in villages along its banks. However, due to its placer gold reserves, in previous years Cha Ha stream was dug up, the stream bed was littered with rocks and soil, the stream banks were full of gold mining holes, the water turned red, and fish and shrimp could not survive.
Recently, alluvial gold mining along Cha Ha stream has gradually decreased, the river is clear and blue again. Cha Ha stream has revived, rice fields are green again, shrimp and fish have returned, herds of buffalo and cows graze leisurely...
