Nowadays, slash-and-burn cultivation has been replaced by wet rice cultivation, with two crops per year. Thanks to this, the lives of the people here have changed rapidly. The models of growing melons, squash, and pumpkins... are being piloted by Hanh Dich commune and the model is beginning to be replicated. To have rice to make wine, the people in the village still have to use mortars to pound the rice. Only by using manual methods will the wine jars be fragrant. |
