Reviewing the report and draft resolution on the approval of maximum and minimum land prices and land price tables in Nghe An province for the period 2015-2019, delegates noted that the draft adheres to the new Land Law of 2013, government regulations, and local realities, addressing shortcomings in the land price tables established in 2014.

The delegates also strongly agreed with the provincial People's Committee's proposals on the principles of land valuation, the maximum and minimum prices for different types of land, and the land price list. Accordingly, in general, the fluctuation between land prices in 2015 and 2014 in the districts, cities, and towns remained basically the same, with only localized changes in some areas and routes due to changes in planning, transportation infrastructure structure, and inadequacies because the previous determination did not ensure a common land price level.
During the review, several delegates also clarified the authority of the Provincial People's Council in deciding on the principles of land valuation, maximum and minimum prices for various types of land, and land price tables. The Provincial People's Committee is responsible for issuing and publishing detailed and specific prices for each plot and parcel of land, with the aim of ease of implementation, avoiding arbitrariness in localities, and facilitating the fulfillment of state obligations, as well as the compensation and land clearance process when land is reclaimed.
