Building a set of New Rural Criteria with unique characteristics for Kim Lien
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of November 3, 2014, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee held its November meeting to listen to and give opinions on the Project to build Kim Lien (Nam Dan) into a model new rural commune in the period of 2015-2020; give opinions and vote on honoring and rewarding a number of cases under the consideration authority of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting. The first content on building Kim Lien commune - Nam Dan district into a model new rural commune was presented by comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. According to this Project, the general goal is to promote the revolutionary tradition, be proud of being the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, focus on building a truly strong political system of Kim Lien commune, promote democracy in the Party and among the people, mobilize all resources for investment and development, bring Kim Lien to a high and sustainable economic growth rate. The economic structure of Kim Lien is oriented towards: Services - construction industry - agriculture; synchronous infrastructure; have a harmonious and progressive cultural life, ensure good traditional cultural identity, strengthen the relationship between villagers, build a green - clean - beautiful village, friendly people; stable political security, maintained social order and safety; build Kim Lien to develop comprehensively, become a model new rural commune before 2020.
Regarding the average income per capita in 2015, Kim Lien strives to reach 28-30 million VND and 50-60 million VND in 2020; the average growth rate is 13-15%; the total budget revenue by 2015 reaches 12-13 billion VND and by 2020 reaches 25-26 billion VND, the budget revenue growth rate for the whole period reaches 16%. By 2020, 100% of schools will meet national standards; Some indicators such as the rate of clean water use, environmental sanitation, and national standards on health are set at a high level and maintained. The Party Committee and government of Kim Lien commune are clean and strong.

Speaking at the discussion, the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee suggested that Nam Dan district and Kim Lien commune need to determine the political position of their commune and the model nature to aim for, from there have plans and build according to the plan for modern development, while maintaining traditional identity and becoming a new rural commune in a sustainable way.
