The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Department of Information and Communications highly appreciated the active role of press agencies in December 2014. The propaganda content closely followed political, economic and social events, such as: The 70th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army; The 13th session of the Provincial People's Council (term XVI); The ceremony of awarding and posthumously awarding the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother to 319 Mothers of Nghe An province; Propaganda about Vi and Giam folk songs recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity...

At the Conference, representatives of press agencies expressed many opinions on strengthening the press management work of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Department of Information and Communications, because in reality, many collaborators are taking advantage of the prestige of press agencies to carry out wrongful purposes, violating the Press Law; the province needs to pay more attention to providing timely information to press agencies, closely coordinate to take care of Tet for the poor, people in especially difficult circumstances... The comrades chairing the meeting received and directly discussed some contents reflected by the press agencies.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Le Ba Hung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department acknowledged the positive contributions of press agencies in the past time. He requested that press agencies, in the coming time, need to closely coordinate with functional agencies to well manage the team of reporters and collaborators, build a clean and standard ethics for journalists. Strengthen propaganda to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3), accompany the work of taking care of the Lunar New Year of all levels, sectors, localities and people; Promote propaganda about party congresses at all levels; Continue to deeply propagate the Heritage of Vi and Giam folk songs; Improve the quality of propaganda for 45 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament; Emulate the implementation of Resolution 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of Nghe An province until 2020; Propaganda of the strategy to protect the sea and islands of the Fatherland, etc.
