(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 10, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2015).

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches; Representatives of leaders of VCCI Vietnam.

Overview of the meeting

Recognizing the position of the business community as well as the great contributions of business communities and enterprises to the development of the country, in 2004, the Prime Minister decided to choose October 13 every year as Vietnam Businessmen's Day and become a big festival for business associations and businessmen in the whole country in general and Nghe An province in particular. The 11th anniversary of Vietnam Businessmen's Day on October 13 this year was organized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province to meet typical businesses and businessmen who have made many positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province; Marking the maturity and affirming the important position and role of the business community in the period of national construction and development; At the same time, strengthening exchange and cooperation activities in businesses, contributing to building an increasingly strong business community in Nghe An province.

Provincial leaders present flowers to outstanding businessmen

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc acknowledged the positive contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs to the socio-economic development of the province in difficult conditions. Along with promoting production and business, businesses and entrepreneurs in the province also actively participate in charity, humanitarian and social security activities.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in the coming time, the province will continue to pay attention, support, innovate mechanisms, policies, administrative reforms, create favorable conditions for businesses to operate and develop, and for entrepreneurs to have the opportunity to promote their talents and intelligence, actively contribute to the overall development of the province, determined to make Nghe An a fairly developed province in the North Central region in the spirit of Resolution 26 of the Politburo./.
