Draft amendments and supplements to medical examination and treatment service prices
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 13, Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with relevant departments and units to listen to and give opinions on the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 56/2012/NQ-HDND and Decision No. 72/2012/QD-UBND regulating prices of some medical examination and treatment services at State medical examination and treatment facilities in Nghe An province.
At the meeting, a representative of the Nghe An Department of Health presented a draft revised Resolution. Accordingly, the prices of medical examination and treatment services at state-owned medical examination and treatment facilities in the area are currently being implemented according to Decision 72/2012/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee. However, in reality, the prices of many medical examination and treatment services are currently higher or lower than the actual costs and many new technical services do not have price regulations, causing difficulties and confusion in paying for medical examination and treatment costs, affecting the rights of patients.

Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh requested that price revisions must be based on actual costs. |
Nghe An Department of Health and the working group drafted a proposal to amend and supplement 197 technical lists. Of these, 62 technical lists proposed to have their prices revised (8 lists reduced prices), 11 techniques proposed to have their prices and names revised (2 lists reduced prices), 17 services proposed to have their names revised and prices kept the same, 12 services abolished due to duplicate names, and 95 new technical services requiring additional prices.
After listening to comments from relevant departments and units, Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh agreed with the necessity of abolishing Resolution 56/2012/NQ-HDND and Decision 72/2012/QD-UBND and re-issuing regulations on technical service prices. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, departments and units to develop prices based on actual inspections to calculate actual costs. The price revision submitted to the People's Council for decision must ensure the rights of patients, while creating conditions for developing technical expertise, limiting referrals to the Central level, ensuring that poor patients in Nghe An can benefit from advanced techniques, and encouraging universal health insurance./.
