Building Anh Son district to develop quickly and sustainably
(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son (1822-2022), the 60th anniversary of the district's separation (1963-2023), the district has launched the emulation movement "All for the rich and beautiful homeland of Anh Son", thereby creating a strong driving force and spirit, attracting cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to participate.
Under the leadership of the Party Committee and the government from the district to the grassroots level, and especially with the consensus and active response of the entire political system and the entire people, the emulation movement has achieved important, quite comprehensive and clear results, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, the face of the countryside is increasingly prosperous, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of local socio-economic development.

After more than 1 year of implementation, the entire political system and people in the district have focused on the following tasks: Emulating to achieve achievements in completing and exceeding the socio-economic development targets and tasks of the district in the period of 2022-2023, as an important premise for completing the 5-year socio-economic targets (2021-2025); promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; anti-corruption work, practicing thrift, fighting waste and resolving complaints and denunciations; performing well the work of national defense - security, environmental protection, improving the quality of activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations...
The emulation movement has mobilized the entire political system, all classes of people, and Anh Son's children living and working across the country to actively turn to their homeland, contributing to promoting the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas and continuing to effectively implement the emulation movement "Green, clean, beautiful, bright, friendly".
Through implementation, the whole district has completed the construction of 501 works with welcome signs out of a total of 230 initially registered works, exceeding 271 works, reaching a rate of 218%. The total amount of money and materials converted is 143,995 billion VND/target of 20 billion VND, reaching a rate of 720%. Resources mobilized to implement the movement mainly come from the people, children living and working far from home contributing and supporting; through socialization and with partial support from local budgets, agencies, units, contributing to the successful implementation of the movement. Many individuals have actively contributed to support the construction of infrastructure and rural roads, such as the family of Mr. To Van Hue - citizen of village 8, Cao Son commune 132 million VND; Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh in village 6, Linh Son commune 200 million VND; Mr. Nguyen Van Lan in village 5, Cao Son commune 95 million VND; Mr. Dang Xuan Que in village 9, Cao Son commune 81 million VND... Children of Anh Son district living and working all over the country have turned to their homeland, making many contributions to building infrastructure and cultural institutions, typically the family of Mr. Nguyen Sy Ngoc in Hanoi contributed 1.5 billion VND; Mr. Nguyen Sy Cu in Vinh city 600 million VND; Ms. Dao Thi Thuy Hang in Dong Nai 311 million VND; Ms. Tran Thi Hoa in Ho Chi Minh city 300 million VND; Mr. Nguyen Huu Thuong in Da Nang 163 million VND; Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh in Dong Nai 131 million VND; Mr. Bui Duc Thanh in Ho Chi Minh city 100 million VND; Mr. Hoang Phu Hien in Vinh city 100 million VND...

Through the activities of the emulation movement, the determination and change in the implementation of the district's political tasks have been demonstrated, namely: The District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations have consistently implemented the "5 no's" ("No authoritarianism, arrogance, causing difficulties and troubles"; "No bureaucracy, insensitivity, irresponsibility", "No corruption, waste, group interests"; "No flattery, lobbying, deceit"; "No taking advantage of positions and powers in performing public duties").
Administrative agencies and public service units have strongly innovated in public service and professional activities, promoted administrative reform, resolutely directed the settlement of administrative procedures both directly and online, focused on digital transformation, and built e-government. The Education and Training sector has promoted the emulation movement to build "Green, clean, beautiful, friendly, and gradually modern" schools, attracting tens of billions of VND from the people and philanthropists to build schools, maintain the quality of teaching and learning, ranking 3rd in the province; medical work and public health care have received increasing attention, actively contributing "Scientific research - technical innovation initiatives" to medical examination and treatment for the people.

Communes and towns have taken many practical actions, upholding the spirit of “All for a rich and beautiful homeland” and have attracted large resources to build projects according to the motto from local budgets and contributions from the people with billions of VND. In particular, many villages have mobilized from the people and children far from home to build projects worth from 500 to 700 million VND.
The People's Public Security Force always upholds the determination to "Build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security Force, contributing effectively to the construction and protection of the Fatherland", always paying attention to, caring for, and preserving a peaceful life for the People. The military agency always upholds the spirit of "building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern armed force". The Border Guard regularly "sticks to the people, sticks to the area", implements "eating, living, working, speaking the ethnic language together", "protecting the people, protecting the border".

For units and enterprises, there has been a change in the connection between the three "Scientists - Entrepreneurs - Farmers" to have high quality and effective products.
From the results achieved in building and organizing the emulation movement "All for the rich and beautiful homeland of Anh Son" has brought practical results, the entire political system has promoted the program of building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas; gradually building towns that meet urban civilized standards. The results of the movement also contributed to promoting the patriotic emulation movement towards the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2023). With the achievements achieved, following the results of patriotic emulation movements, in 2023, the Party Committee, Government and People of the district were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; and the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister.

It can be affirmed that, by closely following the political tasks and practical situation of the locality, the victory of the emulation movement has demonstrated the synchronous implementation of solutions to mobilize the entire political system, especially the trust and determination of the people to respond unanimously, creating a widespread influence throughout the district, creating a strong momentum and motivation to promote all classes of people to promote their capacity, intelligence and initiatives, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks, and the determination to build Anh Son district to develop rapidly and sustainably, affirming its position as the top mountainous district of Nghe An province as set out in the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress.
