Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.
Steering Committee members contribute ideas to develop the action plan for the 2013-2015 period.
By the end of 2012, the total number of people participating in health insurance in our province was over 2 million people, accounting for 70.9% of the province's population. The goal for the 2012-2015 period is: to expand the scope of health insurance coverage in terms of the proportion of the population participating in health insurance, the scope of health services enjoyed and reduce the out-of-pocket payment rate of health service users; to ensure the rights of health insurance participants; to move towards universal health insurance, contributing to creating a stable financial source for people's health care in the direction of fairness, efficiency, quality and sustainable development. The target of health insurance coverage in 2013 is 72.5% of the population, in 2014 is 73.5%, in 20115 is 74.5% and in 2020 is 80.1%. To achieve these goals, the Draft proposes 9 groups of implementation solutions, assigning specific responsibilities to organizations and members for implementation.
At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee gave many comments to continue to develop the Draft so that it can be implemented soon. Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Steering Committee to continue to develop a specific implementation plan, especially emphasizing and focusing on solutions: disseminating and popularizing issues related to health insurance, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, ensuring the rights of people with health insurance cards; Strengthening the direction of People's Committees at all levels in implementation; Strengthening the inspection and examination of the implementation of health insurance policies, applying information technology in health insurance management./.
