Building a progressive and civilized Yen Vinh residential area

(Baonghean.vn)-On the evening of November 17, Yen Vinh block - Hung Phuc Ward - Vinh City organized "National Great Unity Day and celebrated the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front".

Attending this activity were Mr. Nguyen Hong Nhi - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of Vinh City.

The great national solidarity festival of Yen Vinh block took place excitingly and joyfully with artistic performances from people of 9 residential groups and honoring exemplary cultural and sports families.

Honoring exemplary cultural families

Yen Vinh block is one of the residential areas with many advances in building a civilized and progressive cultural life. For 14 consecutive years, the block has maintained the title of cultural unit. In recent years, the block has had comprehensive development, the Party Committee is strong in all aspects, the whole population actively builds a civilized and clean block, ensuring security and order in the area. The block has 98% of households achieving the title of cultural family. In 2013, the block had 4 out of 5 students in the whole Hung Phuc ward winning the National Excellent Student Award.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to the Front Working Committee and 3 families in difficult circumstances. The Party Committee, Executive Committee, and Front Working Committee of Yen Vinh block launched a campaign for the entire population to compete to achieve many achievements, strive to maintain 15 years of cultural unit, and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the block's establishment in 2014.
